ASSESSMENT

Instruments to evaluate where someone with hoarding behavior is in their recovery journey both quantitatively and qualitatively.

Assessment

1 / Clutter Image Rating Scale

The Clutter Image Rating is a tool that helps standardize definitions of clutter by showing a series of images depicting rooms in various stages of clutter.  This allows the observer to select the image on the scale that best corresponds with the state of rooms in the home. In general, rooms that are rated as picture #4 or higher indicate a probable hoarding problem/HD diagnosis.
